How do you book a tattoo appointment at Tattoo-Werk?
We prefer to talk most tattoos through in person — drop by during opening hours at Wagramer Straße 115 in 1220 Vienna and we'll discuss your design, size, body placement and preferred artist right there. For simple pieces that don't need a personal consultation beforehand, we can also arrange an appointment online. Or just stop by the studio.
Are walk-ins possible at Tattoo-Werk?
Yes. Walk-ins are welcome — especially on our announced Walk-in Days. On other days, just ask in the studio about free slots.
How much does a tattoo cost in Vienna?
Our minimum price starts at 100 €. Even for small motifs we need the same materials as for larger projects. We'll give you a firm quote after a personal consultation at the studio.
Which tattoo styles does Tattoo-Werk offer?
Realism, Black & Grey, Blackwork, Linework, Fine Line, Dotwork, Color, Traditional, Maori, Lettering, Concept, Sketch and Cover-Ups. You can see which artist does which style in the artists overview.
What's the minimum age for a tattoo in Austria?
From 16 with written consent from a parent or guardian, from 18 without. A parent or guardian has to come to the studio with you. Always bring a photo ID.
What hygiene standards apply at Tattoo-Werk?
We work exclusively with sterile single-use needles, fresh materials for every client and in line with Austrian health regulations. Our current hygiene certificate is available to view in the studio and linked in the footer.
Does Tattoo-Werk do piercings too?
Yes — piercings are handled by Kathi Hart, with her own consultations and appointments. All the info is at kathihart.at.
How do I care for my fresh tattoo?
For the first few days, keep it clean, apply a thin layer of cream, no sport, no sun, no bathing. You'll find detailed instructions on our aftercare page.
